“Ingrid has to leave her father Willy in an elderly home. He suffers from dementia and that causes their relationship to change. Now the daughter has to take care of her father instead of vice versa, this causes pain. Will they find a balance?”
This is the final short film I wrote and directed while studying at RITCS. I drew inspiration from the story of my own grandfather, who quite suddenly suffered from a severe case of dementia. The film reflects this: It became a packed, uncomfortable and emotional short film.
